Our Approach

A few principles guide everything on this site.

We explain, we do not predict. You will not find horoscopes, fortune-telling, or claims about what will happen to you. We describe what the tradition holds and why, and leave belief to you.

We do not give medical or ritual advice. Where we describe Ayurveda or any practice, we present it as tradition and culture, not as treatment or prescription. Where we describe a puja or a vrat, we describe how it is commonly done, noting that families and regions differ, never claiming one correct way.

We aim for accuracy. We make our best effort to get the facts right and to present the tradition fairly. This is a vast and living tradition, and where accounts, dates, or practices differ, we try to reflect that rather than flatten it into one answer.

We respect the tradition. This is written with reverence, not for spectacle. If we ever fall short of these principles on a page, that is a mistake to be corrected, not the intent.
